In short: Longlyf is a free booking platform that connects you with independent clinics. It is not a hospital, it does not give medical advice, and the clinic and doctor are responsible for your treatment. In an emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Longlyf Medtech Private Limited ("Longlyf", "we", "us", "our") for your use of the Longlyf mobile apps, the website longlyf.com and related services (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully. When you create an account, tick the box to accept these Terms, or use the Service, you agree to be bound by them. This is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and it does not need a physical or digital signature.

1. What Longlyf is, and what it is not

Longlyf is an online technology platform that lists independent clinics and the doctors who consult there, and lets patients book a token (a place in the doctor's queue) for a chosen day.

  • Longlyf is an intermediary. We provide the platform under section 2(1)(w) and section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Clinics list themselves and their doctors; we do not employ, appoint, supervise or control any doctor or clinic.
  • Longlyf is not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe or give medical advice, and nothing in the Service is medical advice. Your medical care is solely between you and the doctor and clinic you visit.
  • Doctors are added and verified by clinic owners. Each clinic owner is solely responsible for checking the identity, qualifications and medical council registration of the doctors at their clinic. We carry out basic checks when a clinic joins, but we do not guarantee any doctor's qualifications, skill or availability, and a listing is not a recommendation.

2. Not for emergencies

Do not use Longlyf in a medical emergency. If you or someone else needs urgent help, call 112 (national emergency number) or 108 (ambulance), or go to the nearest hospital straight away.

3. Who can use Longlyf

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
  • You may book for family members, including children, if you are their parent or guardian or they have asked you to. You confirm that you have their permission to share their details with us and the clinic.
  • You must give true, complete and current information, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done with your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
  • One person may hold one patient account. We may refuse or close accounts that break these Terms.

4. How bookings work

  • Booking is free. Longlyf does not charge patients for booking and never collects consultation fees. You pay the doctor's fee directly to the clinic, in the way the clinic accepts.
  • Fees and timings are set by the clinic. We show them as the clinic gives them to us. Any question or dispute about fees, refunds, treatment or service at the clinic is between you and the clinic, though we will help you contact them.
  • A token is a place in the queue, not a fixed time. Clinics see patients in token order, but may also see walk-in patients and emergencies, and consultations can take longer than expected. Please reach the clinic before your turn.
  • Doctors can become unavailable. If a doctor is on leave or a clinic has to cancel, the clinic may cancel or move your booking. We will try to tell you as soon as we know.
  • Booking limits. To keep things fair, we may limit how many bookings an account can hold, how far ahead you can book, and booking for the same day after a cut-off time.

5. Cancelling and missed visits

If you can't go, please cancel or reschedule in the app so someone else can have the slot. We may set a time before the visit after which changes must be made by calling the clinic. If an account repeatedly books and does not turn up, we may limit its bookings.

6. Things you must not do

You agree not to use the Service to host, display, upload, share or send anything that:

  • belongs to someone else and you have no right to;
  • is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy, including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or is otherwise unlawful;
  • is harmful to children;
  • infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
  • deceives or misleads about where a message came from, or knowingly spreads false or misleading information;
  • impersonates another person, including making bookings in another person's name without permission;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with other countries, or public order, or incites any offence;
  • contains software viruses or any code designed to interrupt, damage or limit the Service;
  • is patently false and untrue, and is written or published to mislead or harass for financial gain or to cause injury to any person.

You must also not make fake bookings or hold slots you don't intend to use, copy or resell data from the Service, try to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, or abuse clinic staff. We may remove content, suspend or close accounts, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.

7. Messages we send you

We send messages that are needed for your bookings and account, such as confirmations, changes made by the clinic, and password resets, by email, SMS, or in-app notification. We send promotional messages only if you agree, and you can stop them at any time.

8. Our content and your content

The Longlyf name, logo, apps, website and their design belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to use the Service for yourself. Clinic and doctor information belongs to the clinics that provide it. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the Service without owing you anything.

9. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep the Service accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that information provided by clinics is complete or current.

10. Limits on our liability

To the extent permitted by law, Longlyf is not liable for:

  • any diagnosis, treatment, advice, act or omission of a doctor or clinic, or any medical outcome;
  • the qualifications, registration or conduct of doctors listed by clinics;
  • fees charged by clinics, or any dispute between you and a clinic;
  • indirect or consequential losses, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to ₹1,000 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is higher. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded.

11. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Longlyf for any loss or claim that arises because you broke these Terms or the law, or misused another person's information.

12. Suspension, deletion and ending these Terms

You can stop using Longlyf and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law, with notice where reasonable. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability, indemnity and disputes) continue after your account ends.

13. Your privacy

How we collect, use and protect personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy at longlyf.com/privacy, which forms part of these Terms.

14. Complaints and grievance officer

If you have a complaint about the Service, about content on it, or about how we handle your personal data, please contact our Grievance Officer:

  • Mr. Sekh Imtiazuddin, Grievance Officer, Longlyf Medtech Private Limited
  • Email: grievance@longlyf.in
  • Phone: +91 99333 33777 (Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm)
  • Address: West Bengal, India

We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and try to resolve it within 15 days of receiving it, as required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Please tell us your name, phone number, the booking or account concerned, and what went wrong.

15. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. We encourage you to contact our Grievance Officer first; most issues can be solved quickly that way.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or the law changes. We will show the date of the latest version at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
